Since 2006, Orange Rouge has been provoking an unusual encounter between teenagers with disabilities and contemporary artists through the creation of a collective work. After a presentation in schools, the works are brought together in an exhibition. This season focuses on the liminal relationships that combine visual arts, theatre and disability. It is at the intersection and meeting of these worlds that this project wishes to play a role.
Un discret bijou is both the exhibition of the twenty workshops conducted by the teenagers and the artists of the 2018-2019 season of the Orange Rouge association but also a play of the same name.
With teenagers from the following schools: Alain Fournier (Paris 11th), Beau Soleil (Chelles), Claude Debussy (Aulnay-sous-Bois), Colonel Fabien (Montreuil), Dora Maar (Saint-Denis), Françoise Dolto (Paris 20th), Georges Politzer (La Courneuve), Gustave Flaubert (Paris 13th), Jean Wiener (Champs-sur-Marne), La Mare aux Champs (Vaux-le-Pénil), La Vallée (Avon), Le Grand Parc (Cesson), Léonard de Vinci (Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes), Louis Brailles (Esbly), Paul Painlevé (Sevran), Pierre Mendès France (Paris 20e), René Descartes (Tremblay-en-France) and République (Bobigny).
